In short: your workouts stay on your phone. We run no server, there is no account, and we never receive your training data. The only third party that receives data from the app is Google's ad service (AdMob), and only when you choose to watch an ad to unlock the charts, after the consent choices described below.

1. Who we are

GymCode (“the app”) is published by MatchCode (Jhonattan Aponte, an individual), Bogotá, Colombia (“we”). Contact: matchcodeoficial@gmail.com.

2. Data that stays on your device

Everything you enter in GymCode — routines, workout sessions, sets, weights, body weight, your profile (name, units, language, theme) and app settings — is stored only in a database on your phone. We have no server and no access to it. We do not have user accounts.

The app also stores on your phone: whether the charts are unlocked and until when, your ad consent choices (stored by Google's consent SDK), and the date of your last backup.

3. Backups

4. Ads (Google AdMob)

Logging, history and your numbers are free and ad-free. The progress charts can be unlocked for 24 hours by watching a rewarded ad, which you start yourself by tapping “Watch ad”. No ads are shown on app start, during a workout, as banners or as interstitials.

Ads are provided by Google AdMob. When an ad is requested, Google's Mobile Ads SDK collects and processes, according to Google's own policies:

These data are used by Google for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention and, if you agree, personalised advertising. We do not receive these data in a form that identifies you; we only see aggregated reports in AdMob. Learn more: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and Google Privacy Policy.

If no ad is available (for example, you are offline), the charts unlock anyway.

5. Your consent choices

6. Notifications

If you allow notifications, GymCode schedules local notifications on your phone (for example, when your rest time ends). They are created by the app on the device; no server sends them, and no notification token is sent to us.

7. Crash reports

We do not include any analytics or crash-reporting SDK. If you have agreed to share diagnostics with Apple or Google in your phone's settings, they may provide us with anonymous crash reports and aggregated statistics through App Store Connect and Google Play Console.

8. Other network use

Apart from the ad requests above and the destinations you choose for your backup files, the app does not send your data over the internet. Links in the app (this policy, terms, support) open in your browser.

9. Deleting your data

Uninstalling GymCode deletes everything it stores on the phone; restoring a backup replaces it. There is no in-app erase. Backup files you saved elsewhere, and your device backups, are under your control in those services. Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to delete on our side; for data processed by Google for ads, see Google's privacy controls linked above.

10. Children

GymCode is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. Ads in the app are not configured for children.

11. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal data, and to complain to your data-protection authority. Your training data is entirely in your hands on your device. For ad-related data, you can withdraw consent as described in section 5, and contact us with any question.

Colombia (Ley 1581 de 2012): as the owner of your data you may know, update, correct and delete it, ask what it is used for, revoke your authorisation and complain to the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio. Questions are answered within 10 business days and claims within 15 business days of receipt.

12. Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date. Important changes will also be mentioned in the app's release notes.
