GymCode terms of use

1. Agreement

These terms apply to the GymCode mobile app, published by MatchCode (Jhonattan Aponte, an individual, Bogotá, Colombia) (“we”). By using the app you accept them. If you downloaded the app from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; if from Google Play, Google Play's terms also apply.

2. What the app does

GymCode lets you plan routines, log your training and see your progress. Calculations shown in the app (volume, estimated one-rep max, set counts and similar) are estimates for your own tracking, not recommendations.

3. Health and safety

GymCode is not a medical device and does not provide medical, health or professional coaching advice. You train at your own risk. You are responsible for choosing exercises, loads and rest that are safe for you, using equipment correctly and having a spotter where needed.

4. Your data and backups

Your data is stored on your device (see the privacy policy). You are responsible for keeping backups. We cannot recover data that was lost from your device, because we never hold a copy.

5. Ads and charts

The app is free. Some progress charts unlock for a limited time after you watch a rewarded ad. Ads are provided by Google and are subject to Google's policies. We may change which features need an ad, the unlock time, or remove ads.

6. Acceptable use

Do not reverse engineer, resell or misuse the app, or interfere with the ads (for example by generating fake ad views).

7. No warranty

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that it will be error-free or always available.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for injuries resulting from training, for loss of data, or for indirect damages arising from the use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The new version applies from the “Last updated” date shown here.

Aviso de salud. GymCode no es consejo médico. Consulta con un profesional antes de empezar un programa de entrenamiento. Deja de entrenar y busca ayuda si sientes dolor, mareo o falta de aire.

1. Aceptación

Estos términos se aplican a la app móvil GymCode, publicada por MatchCode (Jhonattan Aponte, persona natural, Bogotá, Colombia) (“nosotros”). Al usar la app los aceptas. Si la descargaste del App Store, también se aplica el Contrato de licencia de usuario final de Apple; si la descargaste de Google Play, también se aplican las condiciones de Google Play.

2. Qué hace la app

GymCode te permite planificar rutinas, registrar tus entrenamientos y ver tu progreso. Los cálculos que muestra (volumen, 1RM estimado, número de series y similares) son estimaciones para tu propio seguimiento, no recomendaciones.

3. Salud y seguridad

GymCode no es un dispositivo médico y no ofrece consejo médico, de salud ni de entrenamiento profesional. Entrenas bajo tu propio riesgo. Tú eres responsable de elegir ejercicios, cargas y descansos seguros para ti, usar el equipo correctamente y tener a alguien que te asista cuando haga falta.

4. Tus datos y copias de seguridad

Tus datos se guardan en tu dispositivo (ver la política de privacidad). Tú eres responsable de hacer copias de seguridad. No podemos recuperar datos perdidos en tu dispositivo, porque nunca tenemos una copia.

5. Anuncios y gráficas

La app es gratuita. Algunas gráficas de progreso se desbloquean por un tiempo limitado después de ver un anuncio con recompensa. Los anuncios los ofrece Google y están sujetos a sus políticas. Podemos cambiar qué funciones requieren un anuncio, el tiempo de desbloqueo o quitar los anuncios.

6. Uso aceptable

No hagas ingeniería inversa, no revendas ni hagas mal uso de la app, ni interfieras con los anuncios (por ejemplo, generando vistas falsas).

7. Sin garantía

La app se ofrece “tal cual” y “según disponibilidad”, sin garantías de ningún tipo, en la medida en que lo permita la ley. No garantizamos que esté libre de errores ni disponible siempre.

8. Limitación de responsabilidad

En la medida en que lo permita la ley, no somos responsables de lesiones derivadas del entrenamiento, de la pérdida de datos ni de daños indirectos derivados del uso de la app. Nada en estos términos limita los derechos que te da la ley de consumo y que no pueden limitarse.

9. Cambios

Podemos actualizar estos términos. La nueva versión se aplica desde la fecha de “Última actualización” indicada aquí.
